If you are shopping for curtains for a stage, theater, school, church, auditorium or any other public place, you cannot ignore fire safety.
At Saaria, we provide NFPA 701 tested curtains in custom sizes. You can also add blackout, sound deadening, acoustic, or thermal insulation lining based on how you plan to use the curtains.
Our fire-retardant curtains are tested according to NFPA 701 Test Method. The material had an approximate measured weight of 445 g/m².
The curtains are treated with flame-shield, a water-based fire-retardant product made by Fiber-Shield Industries. The treatment has a pH of 6.5–7.5. It helps slow the spread of flames through the fabric.
So, if you are looking for NFPA 701 compliant curtains, we can help you choose a suitable fabric and curtain setup. Test reports available on request.
You do not have to adjust your space to fit our curtains. We make the curtains according to the size you need.
Select the height and width, then select the fabric weight, fullness, color and hanging style You can choose grommets, pleats or rod pockets depending on the installation. We also offer fabric weights from 9 oz to 32 oz.
Need more than fire-retardant fabric? You can add blackout lining when you need better light control. For those areas where sound matters, there’s sound deadening and acoustic lining. Thermal insulation lining is another option.
Our NFPA 701 curtains can be used in many different spaces. Schools, theaters, churches, auditoriums, event venues, studios, offices, and other public areas can all benefit from custom fire-retardant curtains.
They can work as stage curtains, backdrops, room dividers, window curtains, or other types of drapery. The right fabric and hanging style will depend on how you plan to use them.
If you are searching for NFPA 701 certified curtains, check the exact requirements for your building or venue before placing your order. We can help you understand the available fabric and customization options.
Spaces have different measurements and requirements. That’s why we don’t limit ourselves to standard sizes. Tell us what you need including curtain size, fabric weight, color, fullness and hanging style and we can make the curtains accordingly.
